Scrappy......

'Scrappy' was rescued from a hedgehog friendly garden in Cleveleys after she was seen to be out and about during the daytime. At only 330gms she has barely made in through the winter months. The first day her weight worryingly dropped below 300gms, but following treatment for a bad tummy she is now eating well and weighs just over 400gms. It won't be long before she can be returned to her garden in Cleveleys where she has plenty of back up - food and nest boxes, and there are cameras there to keep an eye on her.

Marnie......

'Marnie' was found wandering around a graveyard in Hambleton during the daytime by a member of the public. Icy cold on admission and weighing just under 400gms. Microscope testing revealed she had a host of internal nasties going on. Given appropriate meds and replacement fluids. Currently eating well and slowly gaining weight.

Winston......

This is 'Winston'. He was spotted on camera in one of my safe release gardens by an eagle eyed carer who could hear he was wheezing a little. Apart from that he appears to be doing really well as he weighs 900gms - pretty good for this time of the year. With all the wet weather we have had for months there will be more coming in with similar symptoms. Now receiving appropriate treatment and hope to get him back to his garden very soon.
